Dan + Breah

I raved about Breah + Dan in their engagement photo blog post, so since y’all are so familiar with their awesomeness, I’ll skip that part and head straight to the wedding festivities! Spoiler alert: this was one heck of a way to send off my 2019 wedding season… Breah + Dan’s wedding was a drrreeaammm.

The day started out with bridal suite shenanigans… these ladies know how to have a good time! As soon as I walked into the bridal suite, Breah told all of her bridesmaids about me and it felt like I walked into a giant welcoming committee full of sparkly, beautiful gal-pals the second that I opened the door. It was such a hype fest, I couldn’t handle it. This bride is literally one of my biggest fans and it means so, so much to work with amazing couples who value their wedding memories enough to treat me like their family. The feeling is so special and I can’t thank you enough for all the love, Breah! Okay, now back to the party. As we all rocked out to bangin’ hits in the bridal suite during hair and make-up, the party continued in the man cave with the groomsmen. Oh, and did I mention that Breah had the coolest pointed-toe blue suede heels? AND a MASSIVE bouquet full of wild and exotic flowers?! I was in love. I’m still BLOWN AWAY by all of her gorgeous details!

These two tied the knot on the rooftop of The Standard, one of my favorite venues in town… I was so excited to photograph my FIRST wedding in the conservatory part of The Standard, it is an absolutely perfect space for smaller, more intimate weddings or weddings during the colder times of the year where the outdoor rooftop would be too chilly. And the conservatory did NOT disappoint. I mean, Breah looked absolutely stunning in her champagne blush BHLDN gown (and she totally stole the show) BUT the venue, filled with Breah + Dan’s closest family and friends all seated together on their rainy, October wedding day was nothing short of dreamy perfection. (See, brides, this wedding was completely rained out, but it looks breathtaking nonetheless… so wedding tip #2,387: don’t sweat the rain, Breah didn’t.) Just wait until you see Dan’s celebratory recessional. He’s the sweetest.

After Dan + Breah’s intimate ceremony (MORE small, elopements and intimate weddings please and thank you! I adore them!), we hung out inside for all of the photos and soon, it was time for the party to begin! After dinner, we moved back up to the conservatory for the open dancefloor and Breah got down more than any other bride I have even photographed. THIS GIRL had the time of her life and it was SO much fun watching her dance the night away.

Dan + Breah, congratulations again on your incredible wedding… thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to be a part of your most precious day. It means the world to me. I wish you both the most amazing of marriages + the happiest of ever afters.

Love, Sara
