Dylan + Callie

If I’m being honest, I had been waiting for Callie’s wedding for quite some time. Our friendship goes back a few years now and I was so honored to be a part of her planning process… mountain climbing process (see engagement session)… and finally her wedding day. I didn’t know Dylan as much, but I knew him enough to know that he would want whatever Callie wanted… because he loves her with all his heart… and what Callie wanted was a one-of-a-kind dress, incredible makeup (because she is an extremely talented makeup artist herself!), and an unforgettable day with family and friends. And that’s exactly how the day went.

Callie + Dylan tied the knot under a gorgeous floral hoop backdrop, adorned with dreamy, burgundy and white florals to match her bouquet… the couple was surrounded by family and friends and as Callie walked down the aisle and locked eyes with her hubby-to-be, like magic the clouds parted and the threat of rain vanished. It was meant to be! After the two said their “I Do’s”, we went on the greatest photo extravaganza to a park that Callie had scouted out before… and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

But after all the ceremony suspense and the photo-taking was over, we still had to party (Dylan’s favorite part! And I know he’s going to love that I’m mentioning his camo Crocs in this post… so here’s to you, Dylan!)… the Bride + Groom had a little surprise for everyone as they danced their first dance; as they swayed and smiled to “Then” by Brad Paisley, they each had pre-recorded some special words about one another and they played over the song. I. Got. Chills. And I cried. But that’s no surprise.

Dylan + Callie, congratulations again on your incredible wedding… thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to be a part of your most precious day. It means the world to me. I wish you both the most amazing of marriages + the happiest of ever afters.
