Breah + Dan

From the initial email that Breah sent out to me, I could tell that she was such a kind soul. She had told me that “she could tell that I really cared” about their relationship and that she didn’t feel silly for typing a novel about their love story because she got the vibe that I truly wanted to read every last detail (and she was right, I just LOVE love stories). When we FINALLY got to meet at their engagement session, it felt like we had known each other for YEARS… you guys, this couple is something else!!!! Breah is a natural beauty that is full of laughter and is pretty much my biggest fan (if there was a competition!) and Dan, believe it or not, picked out their outfits for their engagements… YEAH, power couple much?!

Fun story, these two got engaged at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, so it was only fitting that we went to Rotary Botanical Gardens for their engagement photos. After they completely slayed their engagement photos, we went to Culver’s right down the street to discuss wedding plans over ice cream and dinner… and I’m pretty sure that everyone at Culver’s thought that Breah + Dan were the new spokesmodels for the restaurant because they matched the branding PERFECTLY with their blue and white outfits! It was the perfect end to a perfect engagement session.

After each engagement session, one of my goals is for my couples to be more in love than when we started their shoot… full of love from all the laughs, the laidback style of how I photograph, and full of confidence for their wedding day portraits. If my couples feel that after their session, it was a complete success. With all the laughs and conversation (and two of the most amazing models ever), I’m pretty sure that they feel the same way too!
