Anna + Clay

Anna + Clay… where to begin with these two! First off, they are some of the most beautiful people I have ever met… the way that Clay looks at Anna, you can just FEEL the love in his eyes. And Anna is so thoughtful and caring… the two of them together make an amazing couple and I am so honored to be photographing their wedding.

There was something very special about Anna’s ring… it looked refined, it sparkled like it had a past life… like it had seen so much magic and was filled with it. As we sat inside Goddess and the Baker with the most BEAUTIFUL gold coffee (yes, I said GOLD coffee), Clay begin to tell me a story about Anna’s ring. Clay’s great great grandma, Anastasia, came to Chicago for the World’s Fair with the German Choir and was proposed to with a STUNNING European cut diamond… that now sits in Anna’s engagement ring. When I heard that, I was completely blown away. I am a very sentimental person and hearing the history and the thought, and love, that went into having that stone set in Anna’s engagement ring melted my heart.

After we had our coffee fix, we headed out to wander Chicago and all of it’s glory… I just love the city and Anna + Clay grew up there so we went to some of their favorite spots! If you want to see their session and what I did with her MARVELOUS RING… keep scrolling!
