Anna + Ryne

There’s an overwhelming feeling of comfort when you meet someone (or “two someone’s”) who you just click with right away, and for me, those two are Anna + Ryne. I met Anna at the beginning of February at Something Blue Bridal Expo, where I was lucky enough to photograph the event! And I met Ryne the morning of their engagement shoot!! From the second that we started the shoot, it was like I had known these two for yeeaaarrrsss. I’m telling you, the camera loved them.

FIRST OFF, I just need to say that right off the bat when I suggested a location for their shoot, these two completely trusted me and were on board with my ideas and I have to say that I love them so much for that. It’s so refreshing working with so many amazing couples who put their trust in me… they were warriors through the cold weather (don’t worry, we only froze for like 10 minutes… I’m not that cruel!), and they totally knocked their ice cream and coffee session at Sips + Sprinkles in Belvidere out of the park. I have been DYING to shoot there, it’s one of my favorite ice cream shops around and I just ADORE the mid-century modern vibes of the entire store. It’s a dream in there.
