Hi there, WELCOME and THANK YOU so much for being here! I'm Sara, a mid-western raised gal who cherishes the little things in life. I'm a lover of mid century modern design, I prefer tea over coffee, and I believe that nothing is more powerful than love.
I don't believe in 'clients'; I believe in having 'friends'. I believe in building relationships through trust and creating memories that last a lifetime. I believe in finding the person who completes you in a way that you never thought was possible...and never letting go. I believe that each love story deserves to be told. I believe in coloring outside of the lines and breaking the mold. I believe in being true to yourself and standing for what you believe in. I believe in chasing your dreams until you catch them, and then chasing some more. But most of all, I believe in creating timeless memories that capture souls over smiles and bring tears to your eyes.
I believe that photographs are meant to be shared for generations to come. That's why I believe that I have one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. To be able to capture a moment in time and give it eternal life is so powerful. I am so honored to be a photographer, a curator of moments, and be able to give you the most precious gift in life: a memory.
Things That Have My Heart:
-Food! I am such a foodie. (Sushi is my weakness!)
-My degree! I graduated with my Bachelors in Fine Art Photography from NIU back in 2012!
- Interior design...mainly MCM furniture and architecture from the 1950s through 1970s! I have a slight obsession with Frank Lloyd Wright. It's nothing serious, I promise.
-The beach! I LOVE THE BEACH. Any beach will do, but my favorite is Cocoa Beach, FL. I love to travel!!
-Road trips! Need I say more?
-Anything gold or copper. Gold must be my power color because I am drawn to it like a magnet!
-Simplicity. There's nothing more timeless than understated elegance. Sometimes less is more.
-My friends and family. Because nothing is more important than family, and without them, I wouldn't be where I am today.
-Thrifting! I adore a good 'thrifting day'! The thrill of putting life back into a tired piece of furniture and giving it new purpose is so addicting! (My entire house is filled with thrifted goodies!)
-Crying at Weddings. Yup, that's right. I've shed a tear at least once at each wedding I've photographed. I just adore romance...no shame here!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little about me. I am honored that you're here and I cannot wait to hear your love story! Head over to the contact page to drop me a line! Chat soon!
